I Tricked a Pro Keeper with UNFAIR Footballs

I've made 10 very unfair footballs and I'm going to test them all against a pro keeper to see which one will score me the most goals. But first up, we need to get a baseline with a normal football.

So, I think this is gonna go straight down the middle. Five out of 10.

I know you got a few interesting ones lined up and we'll see how they compare. >> So, this is my friend and pro goalkeeper, Connor O'Keefe, but the problem is he's too good in goal and I can never score past him.

a mission to make an unsafeable football. I've put Connor up against Jabulanis, Chaos Jabulanis, and pretty much every other crazy football you can think of, and every time he's managed to stop them.

So today, I'm taking things into my own hands, and I'll be modifying the footballs myself in ways that are 100% unfair and would definitely not be

allowed in a real game, but should make them a lot harder for Connor to save. From an illusion ball to an invisible and the final boss at the very end, I've had 10 tries at making something that Connor can't save.

And after facing each one, he'll rank the difficulty out of 10. >> This is absolutely horrible.

Now, helium is lighter than air. So, filling the ball with this is supposed to make it knuckle more and move more unpredictably.

And when weighing the ball, it was actually 10 g lighter with

the helium. But is this enough to make a difference?

Let's find out. So, helium football.

No idea what to expect from this. Never faced a helium one before, so absolutely no idea what carnage this is going to present.

But next up, we have an interesting one. It's the camouflage ball.

Slightly disappointed with that one to be fair. But next up we have a very simple modification, but I think it could work well.

Next up we have one of the easiest ways to modify the football and that is simply to deflate it.

So having less air in the ball is supposed to make it knuckle more and move more unpredictably. Let's test it out.

You can see there's quite a lot of give in that. There's nothing footballers hate more than an underinflated football.

I had to work hard to try and keep it out. So, I'd say that was probably 7 out of 10.

higher expectations for this next ball. >> Now, my next idea is to make a bit of an optical illusion with the football itself.

Hopefully throwing the goalie off, allowing me to score more goals. Here's how I'm going to do it.

It's obviously going to change and spin as it comes through the air, so it's going to mess with my eyes a lot trying to track it. Feel like this one might be pretty difficult.

I think the idea was there, but it just didn't cause as many problems as I was expecting. But next up, we have one of the most complex modifications.

So, this is the weighted football. For this, I cut a small hole in one side and then put a few tiny plastic weights inside.

They only weigh about 20 g, but it should be just enough to make the center of gravity off balance, meaning that every time I kick this thing, it should wobble and move like crazy. >> I have no idea what's going to happen

simple yet very effective modification. So, for this next football, I overinflated it, meaning it's a lot more solid and should fly through the air a lot faster.

But let's see how difficult this will be

Therefore, it should fizz a bit quicker and also cause a few more problems for the goalie. Let's see how it does.

But now we move on to the invisible. And this could either work very well or be absolutely terrible.

Now, to make the invisible, I covered a football in astroturf, meaning it should

blend in with the grass and be very hard to see. And as you can see, it did actually work pretty well.

So, this next ball is one of the easiest to make, but also could be one of the most effective, and that is simply to

use a slippy football. I've bought a football with not much grip on it, and I'm going to cover it in soap.

So, next up, I'm going to create a mirror ball. Imagine a ball so

So, to do this, I've bought some speed tape. I'm going to cover this on the ball.

So, here we have our mirror football. Now, the way the light reflects off this ball should make it a lot harder for

And for this I asked AI to design a football that would be an

absolute nightmare for a goalie and make me score more goals. And this is what they suggested.

Having half the football super grippy and the other half super slippy. Now, I've bought this ball that is really grippy, and I'm going to cover the other half in duct tape, which is super slippy, and then we'll have created something that I think could

cause some serious problems for our goalie. So, this has one side of super grippy material, and one side of super slippy, meaning the goalie won't be able to get a clean catch, but also won't be able to know if the shot's going to spin or go straight, and if it'll hold up when it bounces or skid off the floor.

It's just completely unpredictable. Like if you caught it with your shot on the grippy side, it had whip on it.

And if I caught it on the slippy side, was really hard to hold. So yeah, difficult on that one.
