It is currently December, which means we are in the final stretch of 2025. Now, listen up because this last month is going to be everything.

You know, December is the month where it's holiday time. It's the end of the year, and most people, including me, I start getting a little lazy, okay?

I start mentally

00:15

checking out, start coasting. I tell myself, I'm just going to start next year.

I'm going to start working out January 1st. I'll create my vision board January 1st.

I'll write out my goals January 1st. I'll start applying to jobs January 1st.

I'll start waking up early January 1st. But since you clicked on this video, we are not doing that anymore.

This entire month of December

00:31

is going to be your launching pad into 2026 to get a head start over everyone else that's going to be waiting till January 1st to start locking in on their goals. And here is the proof that it works.

I did my own December lockin in December 2019. And it literally changed my entire life.

And let me tell you, this December we are going even harder.

00:47

We're not waiting till January 1st, not after the holidays, not when life slows down right now because we are entering the most powerful era of the year, the December locket. So, in this video, I'm going to be sharing how in these next 30 days, we are going to be entering our era, a full December lockin, where we are going to stop doom scrolling, build

01:03

real healthy habits, track our progress, and get a head start over everyone else for 2026. By the way, if you're new here, my name is Lena, your go-to girl to help you level up, and become your best self.

So, if you're not already subscribed, >> what are you doing? >> Okay, what are you doing?

>> And go subscribe right now.

01:19

>> So, first things first, why the December lockin? Look, I know that there's a million challenges out there.

There's 75 hard, 75 soft, winter arc challenge, 30-day challenge, etc., etc. But let me tell you guys something about December, okay?

There is something so special about the month of December because

01:35

while everyone else is going to be slowing down, you know, it's the holiday season. It's the end of the year.

People are tired, people are burnt out. You and I are going to be speeding up.

While everyone else is falling off, you and I are going to be getting ahead. Because here's the honest truth.

The version of you that you want to be in 2026 is going to be built in these last 30 days of

01:52

2025. You are not going to magically wake up on January 1st and just be the best version of you who's super disciplined and motivated.

You have to prep for her. You have to train for her.

You have to decide early. You have to put in the hours, the effort, the steps.

So, I'm going to be honest. Before I did my own December lockin, I had zero

02:08

motivation. When I tell you I struggled to stick to anything and everything, I had this really bad habit of saying I was going to do something and then never doing it.

You know, I'd say, you know what, I'm going to finally start working out tomorrow. The day would come, I'd be like, oh, I'm so tired.

You know, I didn't get enough sleep last night. the gym is really packed right now.

I could

02:23

just go tomorrow. I would say, I'm going to start posting on YouTube.

The day would come, oh, you know, I don't have the right camera. I don't know what to post.

What if someone from school sees and makes fun of me and I would never post the video. I'd be like, "Oh, I'm going to study super hard for this test and get an A on it." The day of the test would come, I would be super stressed out, trying to cram studying like an

02:40

hour before the test, and I would end up failing. So, I am the last person to judge you if you struggle with motivation, discipline, if you really struggle with staying consistent because that was me, okay?

I am not here to judge you. So, if this kind of sounds like you, you know, you have the good intention to do better for yourself and you want better for yourself, but just

02:56

for some reason you can't really stick to it, you are talking to the right girl right now. And I'm telling you, if you actually stick to everything that I say in this video, this December will be the month that you finally become a woman of your word.

And I'm just so so excited for your huge transformation to come after these 30 days. So, like I said,

03:12

December is going to be your head start month. It is going to build momentum so that when 2026 comes, you are ready.

You are locked in. You already well into your goals.

And the reason why 30 days is perfect is because it's the perfect window of time for you to see real change over these next 30 days, but also short enough where you'll actually stick

03:28

to it. So, fun fact, there's an actual study from Dominican University that found that people who write their goals down were 42% more likely to achieve them than people that didn't write it down and just keep the goals in their head.

That's 42% just from writing it down. This is going to be your first step toward the 2026 version of you.

I

03:44

want you to comment down below right now, I am locked in this December. Type it out in the comments.

Claim it. Lock it in.

Follow the clean slate method. All right, listen up everybody because we got class in session.

So, these next 30 days, we are starting with a clean slate so that you go into 2026 with

03:59

nothing weighing you down, nothing holding you back, and you're going to enter the new year feeling clean and light. And how, you may ask?

First things first, we are going to clean your physical space. So, start by cleaning just one major thing that you've been putting off.

This could be your bedroom, your closet, your shoes, that one junk drawer that you never like to open

04:15

because you shove a bunch of things in it and never look at it. the dishes in your kitchen that you keep letting pile up.

That pile of dirty, stinky laundry that you keep procrastinating, the bathtub that you never scrubbed since you first moved in. Literally, anything, anything physical that has been something you've been procrastinating this year.

And why? It's because this is

04:31

going to set the tone for you to start having a clear mind because truly a clean physical space is a clean mind. So, that is how we are going to jump start this 30-day challenge with cleaning your physical space.

So, just pick that one thing, lock in, clean it, and trust me, you will feel so much better. Second, clean your digital life.

So now pull up your phone. I know we all

04:49

got one of these. This device is a part of our everyday lives, but we tend not to realize that this thing needs cleaning up, too.

So go on your socials and clean your following list. Unfollow people that don't align with you anymore.

Unfollow people that don't motivate you. Unfollow those accounts that every time they post, it just makes you feel bad about yourself.

Unfollow

05:05

anyone who's toxic. And by the way, your social media page is part of this cleaning process.

You know, that old picture of you that you don't like, that photo of your ex-friend that did you dirty that you still have a photo of on your profile. just start doing some cleaning and archive, unfollow, get rid of anything that doesn't align with this new version of you that you see for this

05:21

new year. Cuz generally, when was the last time you went through your phone and like cleaned it out?

So, delete the apps you don't use. Delete that person's contact that you know that you shouldn't have on your phone.

Delete the notes in your notes app that are collecting dust. This is all part of the clean slate process.

Create your December lockin cove. So, now that we've talked about

05:37

cleaning your slates, we are going to build the system that's going to actually hold you accountable these next 30 days of your lockin journey. and we are going to be creating this December lock in cove together.

So, the reason why I'm so passionate about this December lockin, this 30-day challenge, is because I genuinely know how it feels to struggle with discipline, with even

05:54

having energy to get up in the morning. Like, I used to have zero discipline.

I would dream scroll every single morning and I would constantly compare myself with everyone else online. So, if you don't already know about Cove, which I've been talking about her for the longest time, Cove is an app that I created because it is genuinely what I needed.

And like finally one day I

06:09

realized why I struggled with motivation, why I felt like crap about myself all the time, why I was always unhappy. And it was because of this doom scrolling.

And I was always looking for something that would help me with my doom scrolling addiction and bring the focus back onto my life. And I always wondered why there wasn't a space away from social media that wasn't about

06:26

other people's lives, but instead about myself and help me focus back on myself and my own life instead of focusing on everyone else's. And I would always wonder like why is there not an app that actually genuinely makes me feel good after using it?

And I know that is good for me because these social media apps would always make me feel so much worse after using them because I genuinely

06:42

needed a space that would help me stay present, help me track my growth and focus back on my own life instead of consuming and watching everyone else's. So that is what Cove is here for.

It is going to be your best tool for this December lockin. And Cove is genuinely what I wish I had when I was struggling with motivation and discipline and doom

06:57

scrolling. So to use Cove, all you have to do is download it on the app store.

It is now officially available. I'll have the link in my description for you.

It's so easy to download. It's super quick.

So, for this December lockin, we are going to be creating our cove together. Just to give you guys a little tour, these are my personal coes that I have.

I have a little vision board cove

07:13

that I made. I have a shopping list cove because you could actually put links on here, too, which is so cool.

I have a cat cove, of course, of Pika and Leo because I take a million photos of them. But for this one, we are going to be creating our December lockin cove.

So, I'm going to click new cove here. Basically, this is what it looks like.

07:29

Your cove is like kind of like your photo album. You can put links, photos, thoughts, anything.

So, I chose a photo from Pinterest that I liked. This one, it kind of has like that winter vibe, that discipline era vibe.

This photo really motivates me, but choose whatever photo that really motivates you. It could be a quote.

It could be an

07:45

aesthetic photo on Pinterest. Whatever motivates you, put that as your December lockin cove.

So, we're going to call this December lockin and then we're going to do snowflake description December lockin cove to hold myself accountable and prepare for [music]

08:01

2026. So, then that's it.

create cove and then voila. Do you see December lock and cove is right over here.

So now this December locking cove, it's empty right now, but this is going to be your space where everything lives these next 30 days for you. Every goal that you have, every memory, every check-in, every win,

08:18

every thought, every moment you're proud of, it's all going to go in here. Think of this December lockin cove as your 30-day discipline capsule.

Organize your micro goals into Cove. So the first thing we're going to be adding into your December lockin Cove are going to be your micro goals.

So, you want to click save, write a thought, and so for your

08:34

micro goals for December, to make it simple, you're going to choose goals in the following four categories: fitness, discipline, career, and mental health. And the reason why we're only doing four goals is because these next 30 days, you want to really, really focus and perfect these four goals.

There's no point of writing like 50, 100 goals for yourself

08:50

these next 30 days. It's just not realistic and you're probably not going to hit them.

Okay? These next 30 days are going to be all about micro wins, micro habits, micro upgrades so that you are ready for 2026.

So, for fitness, it could be working out for 30 minutes daily, getting 5,000 steps a day, going to a workout class 3 days a week, stretching every single morning. For

09:06

discipline, it could be making your bed every morning, waking up at 6:00 a.m. every day, meal prepping every week, sleeping by 10:00 p.m.

For career, it could be, if you're a student, studying for 20 minutes every day. For my 9 to5 corporate girlies, it could be organizing your schedule weekly, applying to five jobs every week.

If you're a business owner, 20 minutes of

09:22

focusing on your business every day. If you want to be a content creator, posting three times a week.

Examples for mental health, it could be journaling every day, meditating every morning, praying every morning. So, as you can see, these examples are very simple, but they're very doable.

So, just pick one goal for each of the four categories, and we are going to write them down in

09:37

our cove. So, for me, for fitness, it's going to be stretching for 5 to 10 minutes every day.

I am consistent with working out now, but one thing your girl has been slacking on for my whole life is stretching. Okay, I really don't like it, but I know it's good for me and I know I need to do it.

So yeah, I want to commit and really focus on stretching

09:53

every day and getting more flexible because girl, I could barely touch my toes. It is it is I really need to work on that discipline for me getting 8 hours of sleep a night consistently.

I've definitely been slacking on my sleep lately, so I'm going to lock in on that. For career, posting on Tik Tok

10:10

daily. I really want to grow my Tik Tok and my Instagram.

So if you're not already following me on there, go ahead and do that now. I love my YouTube fam through and through.

Don't get me wrong, you guys are my ride or dies, but I do want to grow more on other platforms. So, posting on Tik Tok and Instagram daily.

And mental health, praying every

10:27

morning and night. I really want to work on my faith in God.

So, that is really important to me. Also, make this process fun and cute.

I always like to add cute emojis. So, that's like the fun part of it, you know.

Discipline, we could put a little plant emoji. Career, we'll put a video.

Mental health, I'll put a little

10:44

cloud. So, yeah.

Here we go. Those are my little micro goals for December.

And then all you want to do is click save. And then you make sure that the December lock in Cove is clicked.

She is. So we're going to click upload.

And then there you go. There.

Those are your micro goals for December. Our first

11:00

little entry on Cove. So the whole point of creating micro goals for December is because I'm going to be honest, girl, we only have 30 days.

Okay? So we have to be realistic with these 30 days.

You cannot write a list of a 100 goals and expect yourself to do all of them in these next 30 days. Like this December lockin is about being consistent but

11:15

also realistic. So these micro goals are small enough so that you can actually stick to them but they are powerful enough to actually build momentum for yourself.

And honestly the most fun part of this is that while you are going to be posting every day in this Cove, I'm also going to be posting every day in my December lockin cove and I'm going to be

11:30

documenting it and sharing it with you guys on Instagram. So make sure you follow me on there.

Make sure you download Cove yourself so that you can also join me. Follow the 321 method.

So every day in our December lockin cove, we are going to be following the 321 method. So basically what that is is writing three things that you're grateful for.

Two photos of proof that

11:47

you showed up for any of your four micro goals. So this could be your workout, your step count, your journal entry, a photo of you waking up in the morning, a photo of you studying at the library, literally anything that shows and proves that you stuck to your goal.

One tiny check-in. So every single day at the end of the day, you're going to ask

12:02

yourself, what is one thing I did today that made me 1% better? That's it.

Three steps posting on Cove every single day for the next 30 days. And I promise you, if you stick to this 321 method and you post it on your code for the next 30 days, you will not recognize yourself by 2026 because you will be so transformed.

12:18

I promise you. So, for example, for three, writing three things that you're grateful for.

It could be your morning matcha, a slow morning, spending time with your loved one, great weather, a roof over your head, a warm bed. So, the reason why this is really important is that it's going to shift your mindset into abundance.

It's going to snap your brain into being more positive and

12:34

having a more positive mindset, which is key for these next 30 days. I'm telling you, as someone that writes down every single day three things that I'm grateful for, it has completely changed my mindset.

I'm such a more positive person. I'm happier.

I feel more present. I have more gratitude.

So, for two, uploading your two photos of proof.

12:49

You can obviously upload more. I don't know about you guys, but for me, I'm a receipt girl.

Okay? I need all the receipts before I trust anything.

These two photos that you are going to be posting every day are going to be your proof of receipts that you actually showed up for yourself. So, like I said, these examples could be you at the gym, you walking outside, a screenshot of

13:04

your step count, a photo of you journaling, your clean room if you cleaned your room, a healthy meal you ate, you at the library studying, a screenshot of you applying to the jobs, it could be a screenshot of a quote that inspired you, just two photos every day. No aesthetic needed, no pressure, okay?

Nobody's going to be seeing this but

13:20

you. So, just two photos of proof or it could be something else, too.

So, for example, the super cool thing about Cove is that you could save other things other than photos. You could save a link.

So, for example, one of my micro goals for December is to pray every day. So, I'm going to be using my Bible app.

And I can actually link this Bible verse

13:35

to Cove. You click save, save a link, and I just save it on here.

And then there it is. Another cool thing is that you could save music.

So, if there's a specific song that I love that like curates the vibe of what I'm looking for, can also add that in there. And so, for one, your end of day check-in, you're answering,

13:52

"What did I do today to make me 1% better?" Examples are, "I didn't snooze my alarm this morning. I worked out when I didn't want to.

I cleaned my space. I didn't zoom scroll this morning.

So, the reason why creating a December lock-in cove is so important is because now you have something that's actually going to hold you accountable these next 30 days.

14:07

And the super cool thing is by the end of December on day 30, you are going to have a full archive of all your discipline, of all your progress. You're going to see how far you came from day 1 to day 30.

And how cool is it to have visible proof of your transformation, of your hard work. And most people are going to be starting the new year

14:23

completely blind. You are going to be starting January with the receipts because you have your December lock and cove.

Make it aesthetic and romanticize the journey. So these next 30 days where you are completely locked in, which by the way, it does not matter at what point of the month that you are watching this.

As long as you are starting after you watch this video, I am so proud of

14:39

you. It could be December 1st, it could be December 15th, it could be December 20th.

As long as you are starting before January 1st, that is what matters. Okay, so like I said, you want to romanticize the journey.

You want to romanticize the whole process. Why?

Because I'm not going to lie, discipline it's not always easy. Okay?

There's

14:54

going to be some times where you wake up and the last thing you want to do is open up your Cove and take a photo of you working out. The last thing you want to do is go eat a healthy meal.

Okay? But that is why you need to start romanticizing your life.

So, you can do this with Cove. I love doing this.

I always romanticize my days with Cove. You can upload snippets of your routine.

15:10

You can add any quotes that hit that really motivate you. And just treat your December lockin code like your Pinterest board, but in real life.

And that is what's genuinely going to make it fun. Like for example, the other day I went to go work out even though I really didn't feel like it.

And then afterwards I went to go get a post-workout protein smoothie with my mom and I uploaded

15:25

everything on Cove and it just looked so cute and aesthetic and it made me enjoy every single second of it like 10 times more because I was romanticizing it. No doom scroll December.

So obviously these next 30 days we are also participating in no doom [music] scroll December because doom scrolling is quite literally ruining your discipline, your

15:42

focus, your mental health, your self-esteem. And if you don't believe me, there are actual studies to prove this.

A 2021 study from Texas Tech University found that doom scrolling is directly linked to higher levels of anxiety, stress, and depression. Our brains are not meant to be consuming an endless stream of chaotic, dramatic,

15:57

edited, curated content. MIT neuroscientists show that social media apps are engineered to trigger dopamine loops, meaning that the more you scroll, the more your brain craves the next hit.

So that's why 1 minute of scrolling quickly turns into 1 hour. A study in the journal of behavioral addictions found that high social media use decreases self-control and makes tasks

16:14

feel so much harder because your attention span gets so much shorter. So essentially when you doom scroll you are triggering your brain to be in comparison mode to be over stimulated, unfocused, unmotivated, insecure, have low selfworth.

And that is quite literally the opposite of the lock in mindset that we need to have these next

16:30

30 days. And that's why Cove is going to be your safe space away from that because it is quite literally the opposite of doom scrolling.

There's no comparison, no ads, no algorithm. You're not watching other people.

You are posting for you. And it brings all the attention that you are giving to other people and their lives and focusing it

16:45

back on to you. It reminds you, hey, it is time to live your own life.

Post for yourself. Because that's honestly what social media should have been this whole time.

It should have been us posting for us, not for other people. And instead of consuming and focusing on other people's lives, Cove helps you focus and lock in on your own growth.

So during No Doom

17:00

Squirrel December, start charging your phone away from your bed. It could be anywhere across the room.

It could be on the floor. It could be in your kitchen.

It could be in your living room. Anywhere that's not in reaching distance of your bed, that's all that matters.

Two, anytime you find the itch to scroll and scroll, pull up Cove, start posting your own memories, go outside, take a

17:15

photo of you on a walk, upload any moment from your day, write down a thought, and then third, when you do scroll, set a timer. Set a timer for 15 minutes.

And when that timer goes off after 15 minutes, you have to put the phone down. No more scrolling.

I'm telling you, the timer trick, it has helped me so many times. Because when you're scrolling, you don't even realize

17:30

how much time has passed by. But when you set a timer, a limit for yourself, then you actually know.

And finally, the identity shift. So, this is going to be one of the most important parts of your lock-in.

And this has honestly changed my life so much because you do not become your dream self by thinking about her. You become her by acting like her.

17:47

So, during this December lockin, I want you to ask yourself this one question every single day. What would 2026 version of me be doing right now?

Not the version of you that's tired. Not the version of you that feels unmotivated.

Not the version of you that's scared to start. I'm talking about the leveled up, upgraded version of you, the disciplined you.

the version of you that already has

18:03

the mindset, the routine, the lifestyle that you want. Now act like her because the truth is identity comes before the habits.

So once you shift your identity from, oh, I'm lazy. I can't stick to anything.

I'm not good enough. This that to I am the most confident, disciplined version of myself.

I am her. I'm telling

18:19

you, your habits will follow naturally. If you're a real one, comment down below this emoji so that I know you're a real one and watch to the end.

I really, really hope this video was helpful and I'm just so, so excited to see your transformation after these 30 days. And here's a friendly reminder to download Cove on the App Store today.

And I love you guys so so much and I'll see you in the next video. Bye.
